Herno was founded in 1948 by Mr. Guiseppe Marenzi and specialized in men's raincoats.  The company expanded into women's raincoats and then into "double faced" cashmere coats. Products now carrying the Herno label become a fusion of tradition and modernity, thanks to a commitment to advanced research in performance, engineered and hi-tech fabric.  It becomes a perceived value, after pursuing it for 50 years, determined by the awareness of the higher ability, compared to any other manufacturing country, to seek the absolute best quality. For this reason, all of the Herno models, with the exception of nylon down jackets, are Made in italy. In any case, the entire production is carried out in facilities controlled directly by Herno SPA.
